7:00 PM – The Devil Wears Prada 2 by David Frankel (119 min)

SYNOPSIS
The Devil Wears Prada 2, directed by David Frankel, follows Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) and her former assistant Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) as they navigate the challenges of a publishing industry transformed by the decline of print media and the dominance of digital platforms.
New York, 2026. Twenty years after leaving Runway, Andy has become a successful journalist. But her career is thrown into turmoil when she and her entire editorial team are abruptly laid off in the middle of a gala evening, just as she is about to receive a prestigious award.
In an effort to restore Runway's reputation and contain the fallout from a scandal involving Miranda and a luxury brand accused of labor exploitation, the magazine's publisher decides to hire Andy as Features Editor—without Miranda's knowledge and very much against her wishes.
Back at Runway, Andy finds a workplace dramatically changed by the collapse of print publishing. Nigel (Stanley Tucci) explains that the magazine has been forced to chase digital clickbait in order to survive, while Miranda, under pressure from Human Resources, has had to soften the uncompromising management style that once made her legendary. Tensions rise even further when Miranda is required to negotiate with Dior, where Emily (Emily Blunt) is now a Brand Manager, reigniting old rivalries.
Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving industry, generational conflict, and the personal challenges of a new era, Miranda and Andy must redefine what it means to be powerful women, facing an uncertain future with intelligence, determination, impeccable style—and their trademark wit.
