A Forio, il più esteso dei sei comuni dell'isola d'Ischia, lungo il corso principale del borgo, nella tarda mattinata del giorno di Pasqua, si svolge la sacra rappresentazione chiamata “la Corsa dell’Angelo”, organizzata dall’antica arciconfraternita di Santa Maria Visitapoveri che ha sede nella chiesa omonima a Piazza Municipio.
