Exhibition “Di-segno in disegno”

The Biblioteca Comunale Antoniana Pietro Greco will host, from August 11 to 28, 2026, the exhibition “From One Drawing to Another”, featuring works by artist Angela Di Scala.

This exhibition brings the intimate and evocative language of drawing into the spaces of the Library, through a selection of works in which line becomes a means of exploration, expression, and storytelling.

The title “From One Drawing to Another” reflects the very nature of the exhibition: a journey in which each mark takes shape and meaning, inviting visitors to pause and observe the details, gestures, and emotions contained within the works.

The exhibition is part of the Biblioteca Comunale Antoniana Pietro Greco’s summer cultural programme, reaffirming its role as a place open to culture and art, and dedicated to promoting local artists and talent.

“From One Drawing to Another” is an opportunity to discover Angela Di Scala’s art and, through drawing, explore a world shaped by observation, sensitivity, and interpretation.

About the Artist

Angela Di Scala was born in Ischia in 1970. She is a graphologist and holds a degree in Sacred Theology. She has been drawing out of passion since she was a child.

For the artist, drawing is an inspired and timeless moment of pure peace, in which every delicate, unblemished line has its own importance, both in itself and in its relationship to the composition as a whole.
