Stories, Archaeology and Narratives: Snorkeling in Ischia among caves and gas emissions

Organized by Pietro Sorvino (ANS Diving Ischia).

This 2.5-hour guided snorkeling tour explores some of the most fascinating underwater sites of Ischia: the beautiful Grotta Verde, the Grotta del Mago, the archaeological area of the Scoglio del Ninfeo in Cartaromana, and the submerged walls of Aenaria, in the waters in front of the Aragonese Castle. In very shallow waters (less than one meter deep), participants can observe natural gas emissions emerging from the seabed.

The excursion departs from the premises of ANS Diving Ischia in Ischia Ponte, with all sites reachable by boat in just a few minutes.
